Poultry Feed Xylanase Enzyme Xylan mainly exists in the secondary wall of plant cells, and plays a connecting role between lignin and other polysaccharides.

The amount of xylan in different plants is also different. As we all know, the content of xylan in wheat and its by-products is very high. Xylan is the main anti-nutritional factor that affects the application of wheat materials in feed. In fact, among the most commonly used feed materials in China, corn and soybean meal, xylan is also the most important anti-nutritional factor. For example, the content of xylan in corn is 3.7-4.4%, accounting for about 40% of the total component of cell wall, which is the highest anti nutritional factor in corn. The content of xylan in soybean meal was 6%. In addition, the content of xylan in other by-products such as rice bran and miscellaneous meal is higher. Therefore, xylan is one of the most important anti nutritional factors in feed.

Poultry Feed Xylanase Enzyme is made from the best strain of Trichoderma reesei through submerged fermentation and extraction. By breaking down the cell walls, more enfolded nutrients are available and the animal heath and growth performance are improved. The application of Xylanase increases cereal by-product usage in animal feed and reduces feed costs significantly.

Enzyme Activity Definition

1 unit of xylanase equals to the amount of enzyme, which degrades 5 mg/ml xylan to release 1 μmol reducing sugar (in xylose) in 1 min, at 37℃ and pH5.5.
