Product Description
Soybean meal as the one of the most important protein raw materials are widely used in animal feed, mainly because of their high protein content and wide sources. However, anti-nutrient factors contained in soybean meal limit their use in feed, such as a-1, 6-galactosin, called flatulence factor which widespread existence in soybean meal processing. Especially, monogastric animals lack a-1, 6-galactosidase and cannot break down these substances. These undigested substances will increase intestinal chime viscosity and accelerate the empting rate of intestinal chyme. It will lower the digestibility rate and the growth performance of animals. The content of alpha-galactoside in soybean meal is very high (5% ~ 7%), which is the main anti-nutrient factor in the corn soybean meal diet.
Alpha-galactosidase is a new type of high efficient green and ecological feed additive produced by liquid deep fermentation. Alpha-galactosidase can hydrolyze galactosidase bond, reduce the effect of "flatulence factor" caused by raffinose, stachyose and verbascose etc. The hydrolyzed products can reduce the phenomenon of flatulence of animals, prevent diarrhea and improve the quality of feed, which will benefit to animals.
Enzyme Activity Definition
One α-galactosidase activity unit (U) is defined as the amount of enzyme which liberates 1µmol
4-nitrophenol from 4-nitrophenol α- D - pyrangalactoside solution with the concentration of 10mMper minute at 37℃ and pH 5.5 under the conditions of the test.
